There are a lot of reasons to be an architect. Here are some of them which will motivate you to become an architect in your future life —
1. Architecture is a white collar profession and everyone in this world respect architect’s and their creativity. An architect is the suppose to be the most responsible and ethical.
2. An architect gets a complete artistic freedom to design as per his wish under some legal laws. The visual perception is very vast and widens more more with passage of time.
3. Architecture is a lifestyle and not merely a job. An architect throughout his/her life keeps on learning new things by looking around or reading some good stuff.
4. Architecture is suppose to be the most efficient working field which has a vast scope throughout the world. An architect can never stay without job unless and untill he/she keeps on trying and putting in the best efforts.
5. Here you get an open field to experiment and explore till your maximum limit. An architect try to put new stuff in every new building and never stops to experiment in the building project.
6. An architect can be his/her own boss and run his private architectural or consultancy firm. He/she can open office in any part of the nation without any botheration of land use laws.
7. Their is a wide variety of options within the profession and you can choose as many as you want. Architect, after the graduation (B.Arch) degree can either opt for post graduations or start with the practice. Within practice, you can either choose to run your private firm or work under some other architecture office. In the present time architecture has become limitless.
8. Architect can run his profession till the end days of his life and their is no restrictions of age limit in this field. As i said earlier, architect learns throughout his/her life and sometime a lifetime also seems to be lesser.

Mirror, Mirror, on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all? Mirrors are not just charming objects that enable us to see our reflection, they are very important in feng shui, as well.
Mirrors are useful in expanding a space and to draw in the positive and beneficial feng shui or chi energy. They are considered as the aspirin of the great art of feng shui – with appropriate placement of mirrors, they can charge and channelise the flow of energy in a space. They also brings along the sense of calm and refreshment. Your room or given space gets a feel of freshness. They are powerful repellent for negative energy. Feng shui mirror placements tend to push away or diffuse the negativity of an unpleasant object r view. Their placement is powerful feng shui cure.
Proper arrangements of mirrors according to feng shui can absorb or reflect positive and negative energy. Mirrors brings the energy of the element of water, as the origin of mirrors came from the reflection in the water. Pure, deep, and calm water always serves as a reflection of all that is projected into it.
When considering a feng shui mirror placement, pay attention to what will be reflecting in the mirror. For example, on the outside of your home or business, use a concave mirror to absorb or draw good life-force energy into your environment. Mirrors hung on walls should be placed so that whatever is directly reflected adds to the beauty of the space.
Generally, there are three categories of mirrors in feng shui -:
Convex mirrors: have protective qualities, which serve as a watchful eye. They are usually used in exteriors but if framed well and properly decorated, they can be used inside aswell.
Concave mirrors: In feng shui concave mirrors are used as an outdoor elements. They produce an upside-down image and condensed reflections which bring peace and harmony.
Typical mirrors: in square, round and oval shapes, and cast in frames of metal, wood, etc bring abundance and wealth and also helps in bringing the prosperity in your office or home.
Best feng shui areas to have a mirror -:
North – path in life and career
Southeast – abundance and wealth
East – family and health
Feng shui areas to avoid placing a mirror -:
On the walls which face your bed or the wall which face directly the main door of house.
Effective placements of mirrors -:
~ Choose a clear, non-distorted mirror, for positive flow of energy.
~ Make sure that your mirrors reflect beautiful surroundings. Position mirrors to pick up pleasing views of the outdoors wherever possible.
~ Avoid tiled mirrors as they break up energy and add confusion to the reflected image.
~ Place square and rectangle shapes for balance; octagonal shapes for power; circular shapes for unity.
~ Avoid hanging mirrors directly across from each other.
~ Place behind the kitchen stove. A mirror hung behind the stove top burners magnifies wealth.
~ Decorative mirrors are most effective when placed in a position to capture the reflection of a beautiful scene or object.
Feng shui mirrors must be used in the interiors and exteriors of the house wisely to channelize and increase the health, peace, positive energy and harmony throughout the space.

Interior Design is the planning, layout and design of interior spaces with buildings. These physical settings satisfy our basic need for shelter and protection, set the stage and influence the shape of our activities. An interior designer norture our aspiration and express the ideas which accompany our actions.
They affect our outlook, mood and personality. Therefore the purpose of interior design is functional improvement, asthetic enrichment and physical and psycological enhancement of interior spaces.
The purpose of any design is to organise its parts into coherant whole in order to achieve certain goal. Thus, the elements are arranged into three diensionsional pattern according to functional, aesthetics and behavioural guidelines.
Interior design is a multi-faceted or multi- dimensional profession in which creative and technical solutions are applied within a structure to achieve a desired built iterior environment.
The deisgn process follows a systematic and co-ordinated methidigy including research, analysis and integration of information into a creative process whereby the need and resources of the client are satisfied to produce an interior space that fulfil the project goal.
Interior design in terms of profession also includes a scope of services performed by a professional or design practitioner qualified by means of education, experience and examination. This is to protect and enhance the life, health , safety and welfare of public. It involves more than just visual or ambient enhancement of an interior space will also seek to optimise and harmonise the uses to which the environment will be put.
Time isan important factor and all the designing is done as er the styles and trends prevalent in that era or period.

As explained by wikipedia, Prestressed Concrete is a method for overcoming concrete’s natural weakness in tension. It can be used to produce beams, floors or bridges with a longer span than is practical with ordinary reinforced concrete. Prestressing tendons (generally of high tensile steel cable or rods) are used to provide a clamping load which produces a compressive stress that balances the tensile stress that the concrete compression member would otherwise experience due to a bending load. Traditional reinforced concrete is based on the use of steel reinforcement bars, rebars, inside poured concrete.
Prestressing can be accomplished in three ways: pre-tensioned concrete, and bonded or unbonded post-tensioned concrete.

Delhi is a city that has seen both glory and destruction in its long. It has been plundered, ruined time and again only to spring from its ashes to become the capital of powerful dynasties. 
Fortunately, the resilient and enduring culture and heritage has withstood the test of time and the city continues to live.
The heart of Delhi can be found in Old Delhi, 350 yrs old, yet strong and beating. Its many-branched arteries are narrow with age, its veins jostle for space, and its lifeblood is bound to get clotted at some places at any time.
No city reflects the endless drama of change better.
By the time the emperor Shah Jahan (1928-58) came to the throne, the Mughal empire had ruled continuously over northern India for almost a century and the artistic tradition of Mughals had reached a stage of maturity and refinement. During Shah Jahan’s rein the architectural development was remarkable due to his interest and patronage of architecture. His buildings were characterized by sensitivity and delicateness.
